“Up to a third” reflects published claim-agency terms (AirHelp, AirAdvisor, Flightright, 2026). A dash = not that route. No service, including Row30, can guarantee an airline pays compensation.

Lost or damaged baggage?
Claim up to $4,700*.

Airlines are on the hook for the bags they lose, damage, or delay, and you keep every cent. Even a badly delayed bag makes your checked-bag fee refundable, yet an estimated $19M in bag fees goes unclaimed every year.

File a baggage claim

If a US airline wronged you, you can file.

No EU flight required. No minimum delay. Every complaint counts on the airline’s federal record, including the ones claim companies won’t touch because there’s no payout to skim.

Amounts and refund rights are set by U.S. DOT rules (14 CFR Parts 250, 259 & the 2024 refund rule). Whether any apply depends on your situation. Row30 files your complaint; it can’t guarantee an outcome.

Backed by 14 CFR § 259.7
Federal rule, not our policy
Is this actually legit?

Yes. The U.S. Department of Transportation runs an official channel for airline complaints, and federal rule 14 CFR § 259.7 requires airlines to acknowledge complaints within 30 days and answer them in writing within 60. Row30 prepares your complaint properly and files it on your behalf, with your signed authorization every time.

Will the airline retaliate against me?

No. Filing a complaint is a legal right, and airlines handle thousands of them, and there is no blacklist for people who complain. What changes is that your complaint becomes part of the airline’s federal record instead of disappearing into a customer-service queue.

What do I actually get for the fee?

A professionally written formal complaint, filed directly with the U.S. Department of Transportation so it lands on the federal record from day one, a tracked 30/60-day response clock, and every airline response relayed to your inbox word for word. You can watch it all happen in your case tracker.

Will I get compensation?

Federal rules set real numbers: up to $2,150 if you were involuntarily bumped, up to $4,700 for a lost or damaged bag, and a cash refund, not a voucher, when a flight is canceled or significantly delayed. Whether any of that applies depends on your situation, so nobody can honestly guarantee an amount, and we won’t pretend to. If the airline pays you anything, you keep 100% of it, and we never take a cut. What we guarantee is that your complaint gets filed and the airline has to answer it.

Is Row30 a law firm?

No. Row30 is not a law firm and doesn’t give legal advice. We’re a filing service: we turn your story into a proper formal complaint and file it with the U.S. Department of Transportation on your behalf.

How long does this take?

About 3 minutes of your time, on your phone. Our system files your complaint with the U.S. DOT right away, and the Department forwards it to the airline. Then the clock starts: 30 days to acknowledge, 60 to respond in writing.

What does the guarantee cover?

We guarantee your complaint gets filed, or you get your money back. Filing is automated and effectively immediate, so it happens the moment you sign. If for any reason your complaint isn’t filed within 72 hours of your e-signature, you’re eligible for a full refund. We can’t guarantee what the airline pays, only that your complaint is filed and they have to answer it.

Row 30 is the last row: overbooked, delayed, last to board, first to get bumped. That's who we built this for. Flat fee, federal muscle, and you keep every cent the airline pays. We just make them answer.
